Project Challenge
The client needed a 20,000 square meter multi-temperature distribution hub capable of handling fruit, vegetables, meat, and dairy products simultaneously. Key challenges included ensuring precise temperature separation between zones (-18°C, 0-4°C, 10-15°C) and achieving top-tier energy efficiency to manage high operational costs.
Solution Provided
We designed and implemented a centralized refrigeration system using multiple Bitzer screw compressor racks. Each rack was dedicated to a specific temperature zone for independent and precise control. The solution included high-efficiency air coolers with intelligent defrosting cycles and a comprehensive PLC-based monitoring system for remote management and energy consumption analysis.
Project Results
The facility now operates with temperature stability within ±0.5°C in all zones. Post-commissioning analysis revealed a 25% reduction in energy consumption compared to the client's previous, smaller facilities. The streamlined operation has increased their daily throughput by 40%.
